HIGH SCHOOL
MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

WiCS’ High School Mentorship program matches a female high school student with an undergraduate student studying a tech-focused degree at the University of Toronto. This program aims to give female high school students the exposure and confidence to enter computer science-related fields. Throughout the year, mentees will regularly meet with their mentors and get support with university decisions, professional development, and learning about different career paths. Mentees will also participate in networking events and professional & technical skills workshops.

Become a Mentor

As a mentor, you will have the chance to be partnered with a female high school student interested in tech and encourage them to pursue a technical degree. You will be able to share your experiences, help your mentee learn about different university and career paths, and aid them with professional development. Becoming a mentor is an excellent way to have a positive impact on someone’s life, while developing your leadership and interpersonal skills.

Deadline:  Friday, October 15.
